This award, originally called “The Lifetime Achievement in Service Award,” was renamed “The Hy Hylan Lifetime Achievement Award” after our longest tenured Service Technician, Hy Hyland, Taylor of New England, who served Taylor for over 67 years, until his death at age 99. Hy exemplified everything expected of the award recipient.
